Bollywood producer and film director Karan Johar shared on social media that his building has been sterilized as two members of his household staff have been tested positive for coronavirus.
He wrote, “I’d like to inform you that two members of our household staff have tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building. The BMC was informed immediately, and the building has been fumigated and sterilised by them as per the norms.”
Karan said his family members and other staff members are not showing any symptoms and have taken swab test for which the results were negative.
However, he also shared that he will still remain in self-isolation for the next 14 days to ensure everyone is safe. He also recommended everyone to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of 25 May 2020, the total number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra is 52,667 and deaths are 1,695.
