Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao is a wonderful actor in today’s times who has proved that talent and hard work yields better results. Born by the name Raj Kumar Yadav, the 37 years old actor Rajkummar is a Hindi film actor who has received various awards, which include a National Film Award, 3 Filmfare Awards, and an Asia Pacific Screen Award. Rajkummar has done his graduation from the University of Delhi.

He did his acting course at the Film and Television Institute of India. Later, he shifted to Mumbai and worked in the film Love Sex Aur Dhokha in 2010 thus making his Bollywood debut. After working as a supporting character in movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2, Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. His major breakthrough came when he performed in the 2013 film Kai Po Che! He then got more popular after working as a late lawyer and human rights activist Shahid Azmi in the movie Shahid. Thus, he received a lot of appreciation for his talent and even got awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.

Rajkummar also worked in a highly successful comedy-drama movie Queen released in 2014, Aligarh in 2016, Trapped in 2016. Trapped made him even more famous by making him win a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. My favorite film of Rajkummar is his portrayal in the romantic comedy film Bareilly Ki Barfi and another favorite is Newton that was a black comedy and got released in 2017.
Interestingly, Rajkummar married the love of his life, Patralekha Paul, on 15 November 2021. Hailing from Haryana, Rajkummar has two elder siblings and three cousins in his extended joint family. We wish to see more movies of Rajkummar in the coming years so that the upcoming artists can gain inspiration from him to make their mark in the entertainment world.
