Bollywood actor Akshay Oberoi confirmed to a media portal that his friend-actor Imran Khan is no longer interested in a career as an actor and has quit acting.
Imran was launched by his uncle Aamir Khan in the Hindi film industry in 2008 with Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na.
Imran earned a lot of appreciation and a unique fan-following for his uber-cool roles of a young man in his movies. His last movie was Katti Batti that was released in 2015.
Akshay Oberoi is known for movies like Gurgaon and Kaalakaandi, revealed in a media interview that he is Imran’s good friend and they both studied acting together.
Akshay said that Imran has a better writer and director in him due to his high-sensibility and understanding of cinema and he wishes Imran to don the hat of the director soon.
Imran was recently in the news for his alleged separation from his wife Avantika Malik. However, nothing has been made official yet.
