Mumbai: Comedian Bharti Singh has been arrested by the NCB after she and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted charges of consumption of marijuana. According to the NCB, his officers raided Bharti Singh’s house, after which marijuana has been recovered from her house. During the interrogation, Bharti Singh could not give satisfactory answers to many questions after which she has been arrested. The NCB has confirmed Bharti’s arrest. NCB is currently questioning her husband Harsh Limbachiya.
According to the NCB, a 21-year-old drug peddler was arrested on Saturday after the NCB conducted a raid in Khar West. During the raids, the NCB recovered 15 LSD drug blots, 40 grams of ganja and narcotic drugs like Nitrazepam. Bharti Singh’s production houses and raids at home were based on the inputs that the NCB already had during this operation. During this raid NCB got 86.5 grams of marijuana. During this time, Bharti and her husband Harsh were present at home. The raiding officers detained both and took a long interrogation by taking the office to South Mumbai.
However, after reaching the NCB office, Bharti said, “I have only been brought in for questioning.” According to sources, “Both have admitted to taking marijuana.” The NCB has arrested Bharti in this case and kept Harsha in his custody. At present, Harsh is being questioned.
