Mumbai: A day after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) served a notice to Kangana Ranaut for illegal construction at her office in Bandra West, the civic body officials on Wednesday reportedly started demolishing parts of her office citing “structural violations”. Kangana is on her way to Mumbai now amid an escalating fight with the Shiv Sena leaders. Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) approved for Y-plus category security for the actor. As per the latest news, the Bombay High Court has now stayed the BMC’s demolition.
Even before the court’s decision to stop, BMC has broken a lot of illegal construction inside Kangana Ranaut’s office. Kangana is going to reach Mumbai today. Keeping in mind their safety, adequate arrangements have been made at Mumbai Airport.
BMC officials were quoted as saying that the BMC started sabotage work at 11 am in Budhwar. Even before this, BMC had pasted a second notice on his bungalow asking for the demolition, after which a team of BMC arrived at Bandra’s Pali Hill house with bulldozers and excavation machines and made it without the approval of the corporation. Gone construction was dropped.
Following the event, Kangana today again claimed “my Mumbai is PoK now” and posted photos of civic officials at her office and accused that they are there to “illegally break it down”. The 33-year-old actor alleged that she is being targeted by the Maharashtra government because of her ongoing face-off with the Shiv Sena. “I am never wrong and my enemies prove again and again this is why my Mumbai is POK now #deathofdemocracy,” the actress wrote in a series of tweets.
