Auto Desk – Yamaha India has launched a new updated version of R15M. The bike gets new features such as a new TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, day/night modes, parking location, and essential readouts – speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level, and gear position indicator.
It also equipped the bike with LED turn indicators and it will be powered by Ethanol compliant engines by the end of 2023. It has the same youthful styling with sharp bodywork, clip-on handlebars, and a split seat setup.
The new Yamaha has a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with VVA dishing out 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Besides that, it is packed in a Deltabox frame suspended on USD front forks and a mono-shock. It has a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear unit, mounted on 17-inch alloys.
The Metallic Red and Dark Knight are priced at Rs 1,80,900 and Rs 1,81,900 respectively. And the Racing Blue and M trim cost Rs 1,85,900 and Rs 1,93,900 (all prices are ex-showroom)
