Auto Desk – Lexus India has launched the most expensive SUV in India called – LX 500d at a starting price of ₹2.82 crores. It will be available in variants and its price will go up to ₹2.83 crores. The car will be available only with a diesel powertrain.
LX 500d Powertrain
The LX 500d gets a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 diesel engine. The engine can produce 304 bhp of maximum output and 700 Nm of peak torque. The Car has a speed of 210 kmph and can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in just 8sec.
LX 500d Features
The LX 500d has upgraded looks, it has a new spindle grille and sits on a new set of 22-inch alloy wheels. It offers sufficient space for at least five adults and their luggage. Also, it comes with a new dual-tone interior along with 64-colour ambient lighting, and electronic adjustment of seats on both rows.
Its dashboard looks dominated by a 12.3-inch digital infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is a 7-inch display under the infotainment screen which allow the driver to adjust the temperature and access other controls.
Moreover, it comes with a multi-function steering wheel, equipped with a new Electric Power Steering system, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, and more. It also offers multi-terrain modes that include Dirt, Sand, Mud, Deep Snow, Rock, and Auto mode.
Additionally, the SUV features drive modes like Normal, Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom. Also has electronically controlled brakes (ECB), adaptive variable suspension, active height control, fingerprint authentication, rear cross-traffic alert, and clearance sonar.
