Auto Desk – BMW will launch its 2023 X1 and iX1 electric SUV tomorrow and the price will be announced on Saturday during an event. Both luxury cars were unveiled globally earlier in 2022.
The BMW X1 SUV has various updates on the outside. The SUV is now bigger than the previous model – 43 mm longer, 22 mm wider, and 43 mm taller. The wheelbase is increased by around 22 mm.
The X1 has also got new additional features, a new dashboard with revamped looks, and a curved display with a dual screen. It also provides ADAS features along with connected car technology. Also, it offers a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The BMW X1 SUV will be offered in India with both diesel and petrol options. Also, you can get a choice between the 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol unit and the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel unit. The petrol engine offers 136 hp of maximum power and 230 Nm of torque and the diesel engine can churn out 150 hp and 360 Nm of peak torque.
The iX1 electric SUV is based on the new generation entry-level model. It comes with a 64.7 kWh battery and is claimed to provide a range of up to 439 km on a single charge. It can produce 313 bhp of maximum power and 493 Nm of peak torque.
