The impact of Rahul’s appeal, Mamta will not campaign in Kolkata

Kolkata: Amidst the tsunami of Covid-19 across the country and the frenzy of assembly elections in West Bengal, TMC chief and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also announced that she will no longer campaign in Kolkata. In this regard, TMC MP Derek O’Brien gave this information in a tweet. This decision by Mamta came after Rahul Gandhi’s appeal that Rahul announced not to campaign in West Bengal and appealed to the leaders of other political parties to do the same.

TMC MP Derek O’Brien tweeted that, “CM Mamata Banerjee will no longer campaign in Kolkata regarding Bengal elections. She will symbolically hold only one meeting on the last day of campaigning in the city. Along with this, she has reduced the time of his election rallies in all the other districts as well. Now she will only hold a 30-minute rally. ”

Significantly, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had also demanded earlier that elections for the remaining phases of Bengal be held in one phase. Before Mamata Banerjee, let me tell you that Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi also announced that he is canceling all his upcoming election rallies in Bengal due to Corona’s growing transition. However, Rahul did only two rallies in Bengal.

Explain that in the last 24 hours, a total of 2,75,306 new corona cases have been found in the country. During this time 1625 corona patients have also died.
