New Delhi: The results of the assembly elections are coming in West Bengal today. In the trends so far, the Trinamool Congress has crossed the majority mark. The TMC is again seen to be putting a hat-trick of victory in Bengal, while the BJP’s car is seen stopping below 100.
According to the trends till 1 pm, TMC 204 and BJP have led in 85 seats. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party is seen making a comeback in Assam. Here the BJP is leading in 81 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 45 seats. In Tamil Nadu also DMK has won majority. Here DMK is ahead in 134 seats. Talking about Kerala, the LDF is making a comeback here. At present, the LDF is ahead with 87 seats. Let me tell you, the votes are being counted in the assembly elections of five states and union territories, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry.
However, there is a big upswing in the trends. That is Mamta Banerjee’s relentless retreat from Subhendu Adhikari in Nandigram. According to the trends till 10.30 pm, Mamata Banerjee was trailing Shubhendu Adhikari by more than 7500 votes. The important thing is that she has not been able to surpass Shubhendu even once. Shubhendu had claimed to defeat Mamta Banerjee by more than 50 thousand votes before the elections. If this situation arises and Mamata loses the election then it will be a big shock for her.
The BJP put in a lot of effort to win. For this, the film star Mithun Chakraborty was also fielded. But as trends are coming, it seems that Mithun Da is also failing to fulfill BJP’s dream.
