Khanakul: Mamata Banerjee has questioned Modi’s statements and asked is he God who is claiming BJP’s victory even before the results, while six phase elections are yet to be held.
Prime Minister Modi had said in an election meeting on Saturday that he would attend the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government in West Bengal and would ask him to implement the Prime Minister Kisan Nidhi Scheme as soon as possible.
Banerjee emphasized, “He is making a communal statement but it will not have any effect.” He claimed that the Union Home Minister Amit Shah is directing the Election Commission for the transfer of police officers in the state.
At an election rally in Hooghly district, the TMC boss, without naming the Indian Secular Front or its founder Abbas Siddiqui, also said the BJP is giving money “to a person” to eat into minority votes.
