But today the roads in Meerut are not deserted because there has been communal violence or a riot. Today people here have locked themselves at their own will. Today, a virus named Corona has been attacked on the country, Meerut residents have taken this step to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, like all the people of the country, to compete against the same virus.
Today morning started in the city with silence, the places which always had huge crowds, today are deserted, whether it is city markets or colonies. The police has been patrolling since morning and urging the citizens to make the Janata Curfew a success.
There is silence in places like Begum Bridge, Saarthinagar, Nai Sadak, Clock Tower, Saket and Kachehri Pul etc. Abu Lane, the city’s busiest market, is also completely closed. The people of the city are fully cooperating in making the Janata Curfew a success.
