Noida. Inspector Dinesh Kumar Singh, in-charge of Police Station Dadri of Greater Noida, said on Wednesday that on October 2, a video went viral on social media in which a young man was dancing while waving a gun. He said that police is investigating by registering a report in this regard.
The in-charge of the police station said that today police arrested Jan Mohammad, a resident of Dadri town. During interrogation, the accused told the police that he was dancing with his friend at his friend’s wedding.
Police arrested two gangsters of a gang stealing oil from trucks parked on the road side of the express highway. His four companions are absconding. Police recovered a truck, a car and other items used in the incident from them.
Gautam Budh Nagar Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said that on Tuesday evening, a person reported to the police that his truck was looted on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. He said that when investigating the incident, it was found that Murslim and his associates steal oil from trucks parked on the road side of the express highway.
He said that these people use the truck which was said to have been looted in the incident. The SSP said that during the investigation it was revealed that Murslim had plans to show the truck robbed, claim its insurance, and replace the number plate and use it in the incident. He said that the police have arrested Murslim and his partner Salman in this case. His 4 companions are absconding. He said that on the spotlight of the captured miscreants, the police have recovered 60 liters of diesel, two drums, Rs.3000 cash, a tanka, a car and a truck stolen from trucks parked on the side of the highway. During the interrogation, the arrested miscreants have admitted to dozens of incidents of oil theft.
