Chandigarh: After Rajasthan under the threat of Corona, the Punjab government has also taken a big decision to lockdown the entire state on March 31. CM Amarinder Singh has also appealed to the people of the state to help the administration in fighting the corona virus.

Earlier, the government decided to lockdown some districts of the state. These included districts like Jalandhar, Sangrur. But in view of the continuous cases of Corona, the state government has decided to lockdown the entire state till 31 March. During this time, medical stores will be open along with everyday necessities such as vegetable and milk shops. Apart from these, no shops will be opened.
