Lucknow: In view of increasing cases of corona virus, partial ‘lockdown’ has been implemented in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow. Lucknow District Magistrate has issued an order saying that all offices and other establishments will remain closed till March 23. Despite this lockdown, common people will not have much problem because hospitals, medical stores, cooking gas, milk and ration shops will remain open.

The entire case started when four people, including Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, were found corona infected. It is being said that Kanika Kapoor attended a party in Lucknow after returning from London. According to sources, many leaders and high profile people also joined this party. In such a situation, many more people are feared to be corona infected.

Lucknow’s DM Abhishek Prakash has issued the order and reported the lockdown. This order states, ‘All offices, institutions and establishments in Khurram Nagar, Vikas Nagar, Aliganj, Mahanagar, Gudamba and Indira Nagar of Lucknow have been closed. All these establishments will remain closed till 23 March 2020 or until further orders. ‘
