Surat: A 69-year-old Corona positive man died on Sunday in Surat, Gujarat. Apart from this, a 65-year-old woman has also died in the hospital in Vadodara, although her report is yet to come. The Health Department of Gujarat has issued this statement in a statement.
According to the health department, the elderly who died of the corona virus in Surat were already battling a serious illness. Apart from this, the woman who died in Vadodara also had a serious illness. With the first death from Corona in Gujarat, the death toll across the country has reached 7.
So far 2 deaths have been confirmed in Maharashtra, 1 in Delhi, 1 in Delhi, 1 in Bihar, 1 in Karnataka, 1 in Punjab and 1 in Gujarat. 18 corona virus patients have been found in Gujarat. So far, 65 patients of corona virus have been found in the neighboring state of Maharashtra.
In view of the fast growing cases of Corona virus in Gujarat, the state government has decided to completely close Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot by 25 March. However shops of essential items like vegetable, milk and medicine etc. will remain open. The decision was taken at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday evening.
