Another Gyanvapi plaintiff Receives threat calls

Varanasi:  A few international crooks have allegedly threatened another plaintiff in the Shrinagar Gauri-Gyamvapi mosque, claimed the plaintiff. The alleged threat call came on the heels of the husband of another plaintiff in the case, Sohan Lal Arya, received such a call.  Harihar Pandey is the main plaintiff in another case filed in 1991 in connection with the Gyanvapi mosque.

Both Arya and Pandey are the natives of neighbouring localities under the Luxa police station. Before the plaintiffs received the alleged threat calls, former civil judge of Varanasi Ravi Kumar Diwakar also received such calls. It was Diwakar who ordered a court-commissioned survey in the case of women seeking rights to worship in Shringar Gauri temple. Pandey lodged a complaint at the Luxa police station, said station officer Anil Sahu. According to the complaint, Pandey received two calls from international numbers.
