Good news for the frequent traveller, Now recharge FASTag using WhatsApp

Since the mandate of FASTag recharge went live, it has become a frequent affair for vehicle owners across the Country. Banks and telecom operators are coming up with new and easy ways to integrate payment options for users. Private sector lender IDFC First Bank has also collaborated with WhatsApp to perform FASTag recharge easily on the instant messaging app used by majority of smartphone users. The payments tab on WhatsApp will enable FASTags recharge for IDFC Bank’s customers. The customers will be able to recharge their FASTags right within IDFC FIRST’s WhatsApp chatbot by following the recharge process within the chat.

Now the IDFC FIRST Bank customers can get going by simply saying ‘Hi’ to the Bank’s official WhatsApp chatbot number  +919555555555. The FASTag recharge process will be a seamless experience and will enable payments in two easy-to-follow steps. Upon selecting the recharge option in the WhatsApp chat, the bank customers will then be required to enter the recharge amount as per the requirement and authenticate the transaction via an OTP, after which they will receive an official confirmation message about the transaction.

This easy whatsapp service will equip users to pay for their recharge in a matter of few seconds, without having to log onto any other Mobile App or Netbanking service, leading to easier and faster for millions of users.
