Congress preparing list of Corrupt officials in MP
Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee is preparing a list of corrupt officials in the state to punish them if the party forms government, said a legislator, Jitu Patwari on Saturday. His statement has come in the wake of a controversy over irregularities in the National Herald case, for which the Enforcement Directorate is grilling the Congress’s interim president Sonia Gandhi and party MP from Wayanad Rahul Gandhi. The party leaders, however, said that money laundering was not done in the National Herald case.
At a press conference, Patwari said that a few officers were working as the ruling party agents, so the Congress would soon release a list of corrupt officials in the public domain. Once the Congress forms the government, such officers will face the music, Patwari said. During the recent Panchayat election president of the MP Congress Committee Kamal Nath and party’s Rajya Sabha member Digvijaya Singh accused the senior bureaucrats of working as the agents of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
