Date:

New Delhi: The political developments in Bihar indicate a change in Indian police, said opposition parties on Tuesday.  They said that it was because of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) politics of intimidation that the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) has broken ranks with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). In a tweet, D Raja of the Communist Party of India (CPI) said that after the Akali Dal and the Shiv Sena, the BJP has lost another partner, the JD (U). Similarly, another Left leader Binoy Viswam said that there are changes in the air.

In a tweet, Viswam said that Bihar conveys the message of a far-reaching change in Indian politics, but it will depend on how its important players of the Grand Alliance work. Bihar Chief Nitish Kumar is likely to form the new government with the support of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Congress and the Left Parties. According to Trinamool Congress’ Derek O’Brien, the government has cut short the Parliament session because of the political developments in Bihar. The monsoon session of the both Houses of Parliament ended four days ahead.
