MP BJP leader violates woman on pretext of giving job

Jabalpur (MP): A married woman accused a leader of the Bharatiya Janagta Party (BJP) from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh of violating her on the pretext of arranging a job for her, sources said on Friday. The woman lodged a complaint against the leader who has held many important posts in the party.

On the grounds of her complaint, the police began a probe against the leader. In her complaint, the woman said that she worked as private computer operator and had gone to Jabalpur in search of a job. Meanwhile, she met the BJP leader who assured her of arranging a government job for her and asked her to keep Rs 1.80 lakh ready as a brine for the job, so she began to collect the money.

When the woman arranged the money, the leader told her to reach Bhopal with her resume and other documents. He, then, went to the woman’s house and from there took her to Bhopal in his vehicle. On reaching Bhopal, he asked the woman to sit in his vehicle and disappeared with her resume. He came back after a while and told that her work had been done. The politician then took her to TT Nagar area in Bhopal and violated her in the car. After the incident, he dropped her in the Jabalpur highway. He sought an apology from the woman, but never spoke about the job. The accused is a member of the Coffee Board of India, Airport Authority of India and an adviser of Dumna in Jabalpur
