Bhopal: The poster of the film ‘Kaali’, in which Goddess Kaali has been shown smoking a cigarette, has kicked up a storm that entered Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. Home Minister of the state Narottam Mishra said that the film would be banned if the posters were not removed and that an FIR would also be lodged against the film director, he said.

Although the poster kicked up dust on social media and many netizens demanded an FIR and immediate arrest of the Madurai-born Toronto-based filmmaker Leena Manimekalai, she said that she was willing to pay with her life and added that she had nothing to lose.(what is product concept)

Mishra said that nobody would tolerate the insult on Maa Kaali (Goddess Kali), and an FIR would be registered against the film maker, if the posters were not removed. A few filmmakers find it easy to insult Hindu Gods and Goddesses, which is a well-planned conspiracy, he said. The poster of the documentary Kaali has been shown smoking a cigarette as well as holding a LGBTQ flag.
