Ambala: Two children among six members of a family were found dead at their house in a village near Ambala City on Friday morning, the police said. The dead were identified as Sukhiwinder Singh (34), his wife Reena (28), their daughters Aashu (five) and Jassi (seven), father Sangat Ram (65) and mother Mohindro Kaur (60).

 According to some locals, Aashu’s birthday was to be celebrated on Friday (August 26). The police said that some locals from Balana village had informed the police about the incident. Sukhwinder  was found hanging from the ceiling fan in a room and other family members were lying unconscious. They were sent to the civil hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead. A suicide note was recovered from Sukhwinder. In the suicide note, he said that two officials of a private company in Yamunagar, where he was working demanded Rs 10 lakh from him, but he could not give that. Aside from that, he mentioned the names of the two officials in his note. Sukhwinder had poisoned his family members before hanging himself. The police began an investigation into the case.
