According to the CMIE report, Uttar Pradesh is far ahead in terms of providing employment as compared to states like Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. At the same time, the unemployment rate in Uttar Pradesh, the country's most populous, has come down to just 2.9 percent. However, the opposition is taking a jibe at this.

The visionary policy and employment-oriented schemes of UP CM Yogi Adityanath have a big role in this success. Due to the ever-increasing industry and trade, the state has reached the lowest level in terms of unemployment. Under Mission Employment, employment opportunities are being provided to the people of the state through various departments, institutions and corporations. In the last five years, various self-employment schemes of the Yogi government have provided employment to about three crore people.

UP is on a mission to become a one trillion economy and also become the leading state in all economic parameters in the country. In order to achieve that the UP govt is boosting the infrastructure and connectivity so that investors can invest there with improved law & order in the Yogi regime.
