Shivpal-Azam may form a new political front

Azam Khan and Shivpal Singh Yadav's proximity can increase the political tension of Akhilesh Yadav.

Azam Sivpal may form new front

Lucknow. After getting sidelined by the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the proximity between the Chief of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PSP) Shivpal Singh Yadav and Azam Khan seems to be getting deeper day by day. Speculations are abuzz in political circles of both the leaders forming a party together; if it happens then it will surely dent the vote bank and prospects of SP in UP.  Earlier, BSP supremo Mayawati attacked Akhilesh and said that he only ignored Muslims after taking their vote the community is feeling disillusioned with SP.  In such a situation, a new front can take shape during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Many more small parties can also join this front.

Shivpal Singh Yadav himself has said in a statement that after Eid, there will be a meeting on forming a new party. Whereas he has been in favor of Azam Khan since the beginning. At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav's earlier statements were also termed as ignorant and said that remove me from the Legislature. Shivpal is now seen attacking Mulayam Singh Yadav as well. Earlier in the UP assembly elections, he was seen supporting Netaji and always said that he has been following Netaji's orders. For the first time in Etawah, Shivpal Singh Yadav said that if Netaji had raised his voice, Azam Khan would have been out of jail.

Discrimination can take the form of a new front

On one hand, the SP is busy in connecting people with itself, but despite all the efforts, hearts are getting scattered. As strong as he looked at the time of the election, now he seems as helpless. In such a situation, possibilities are being expressed that all the regional leaders including Azam Khan, Shivpal Singh Yadav, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Daddu Prasad, Chandrashekhar Azad can form a front together. There are also possibilities of meeting the Aam Aadmi Party in this. All these parties together can prepare a new equation. Through this equation, he will present himself as a different option for the people of the state.

Eyeing Dalit-Muslim-Jat equation

Azam Khan's camp is angry with SP President Akhilesh Yadav. His media in-charge Fasahat Ali Khan has openly accused the SP chief of neglecting the Rampur MLA. Azam Khan also has popularity in the Muslim community, so the Muslim vote of the Samajwadi Party may be affected. On the other hand Shivpal Singh Yadav has popularity among Yadavs and Dalits. Here, the meeting of RLD's national president Jayant Choudhary is also making a lot of sense and leaders of Azad Samaj Party have also met Abdullah, Azam's son. From all these talks and meetings, speculations are being made that if a new party is formed, then it can get a lot of benefits in the form of Dalit-Muslim-Jat equation. It is clear that the conditions ahead for the Samajwadi Party are looking a bit more struggling.
