Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has announced that Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray will not be allowed to enter Ayodhya. He has said that before coming to Ayodhya, Raj Thackeray should apologize to the North Indians with folded hands. Not only this, he has also advised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that till Raj Thackeray does not apologize, he should not meet him. The MP also said that the Thackeray family has nothing to do with the Ram Mandir movement. Raj Thackeray is going to visit Ramlala in Ayodhya on June 5.

BJP MP from Kaiserganj Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Thursday attacked Raj Thackeray in a series of tweets and demanded an apology, alleging that he was insulting North Indians. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh also advised CM Yogi Adityanath not to meet Thackeray, writing, "It is my request that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji should not meet Raj Thackeray until Raj Thackeray publicly apologizes to the North Indians. Denying the role of the Thackeray family in the Ram temple movement, he said, "From the Ram temple movement to the construction of the temple, the role of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the common man has been there. The Thackeray family has nothing to do with it.

The BJP MP has opened a front against Raj Thackeray at a time when the MNS chief has recently praised the Yogi government for removing loudspeakers from religious places. There is talk of BJP getting closer to Raj Thackeray, who gave birth to the loudspeaker controversy in Maharashtra. However, the stand of MNS and Raj Thackeray regarding North Indians is well known, time and again Raj accuses North Indians of every problem in  Maharashtra. BJP fear that its alliance with MNS will dent its prospects in UP and Bihar.
