A day after a rocket attack outside the Punjab Intelligence Department building in Mohali, Congress national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill hit out at the Punjab government. He said, "Bhagwant Mann should wake up now that he is the Chief Minister of Punjab and not Arvind Kejriwal's Publicity Minister. In view of the unrest spreading in Punjab, I urge Union Home Minister Amit Shah to involve central investigating agencies in the matter." Do it, because the Aam Aadmi Party government is harmful to the security and peace of Punjab. Maan government is not capable of protecting the state, nor is their intention right."

Significantly, the incident happened around 7:30 pm on Monday. According to the information, a suspected rocket launcher was attacked outside the Intelligence Department building of Punjab Police in Mohali. After which the entire area has been sealed. In the preliminary investigation, it is a rocket-propelled grenade. It was thrown on the third floor of the Intelligence Department building of Punjab Police. A tight security cordon has been made outside the headquarters.

Earlier, Former Punjab CM Amrinder Singh had also warned the Centre that a weak government in Punjab will create security problems for India. Since Punjab shares about 200 km of border with Pakistan, it is very strategic for the security and peace of both Punjab and India.
