Gyanvapi Masjid judgement: Survey commissioner will not be changed, survey to take place before May 17
Lucknow: Gyanvapi masjid dispute: The lower court gave an important decision regarding the Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi today. The court refused to remove Advocate and survey Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra, who was appointed for the survey. Along with this, the court has ordered to conduct the survey of the basement of Gyanvapi Masjid before May 17. Court has also provided an additional commissioner Vishal Singh to accompany the present commissioner. All the survey work will be done between 8 am to 12 pm.
The lawyer for the plaintiff told that the court has ordered a survey of the entire mosque complex. He said, orders have been given to the Uttar Pradesh government and administration that this action should be completed. Action should be taken against those who will interfere in the survey work.
In fact, a petition was filed on behalf of the Anjuman Arrangements Masajid Committee demanding the removal of Advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra. After 3 days of debate on this, Varanasi Civil Judge Senior Division Ravi Kumar Diwakar had reserved the decision on 11 May.
Varanasi court evacuated in view of security
Before the verdict, the police vacated the Varanasi court. Only the people related to this case have been asked to stay in the court. Let us tell you, Shringar in Gyanvapi Masjid premises is about daily worship of Gauri and other deities. On 18 August 2021, 5 women had reached the court in the Gyanvapi Masjid premises, seeking permission for daily worship of Goddesses including Maa Shringar Gauri, Ganesh ji, Hanuman ji and other deities present in the premises. Right now the puja is held here only once in a year.

SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav has said that some people are trying to create a rift in the country. The Supreme Court has decided that old things cannot be tampered with.
