He turned his three-wheeler into an ambulance and saved the lives of 15 people by sending them to different hospitals in the city with the help of his vehicle free of cost. The corona pandemic raged through the capital of Madhya Pradesh last year.

The father of three children, Khan also sold his wife’s necklace for Rs 5,000 to convert his auto-rickshaw into an ambulance. Javed’s efforts saved the lives of those 15 people. Nonetheless, a criminal hid behind his angelic conduct. And that side of Khan came to light when a 27-year-old woman lodged a complaint of rape against him at the Aishbagh police station in the city.

In charge of the police station Manishraj Bhadoria said that the woman had complained that she was a tenant in Javed’s house and  respected him like her own brother, so she was never scared of him. On March 3, when her husband set out of the house for his workplace and her daughter was playing outside, Javed entered her room and violated her.
