According to the cultural ministry, the sculpture of Sardar Patel garnered the most bids (140), and the highest bid amount was for Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra’s javelin (Rs 1.5 crore) at the end of the e-auction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s souvenirs on Thursday.

A wooden Ganesha with 117 bids, a remembrance of the Pune metro line with 104 bids, and a souvenir of the Victory flame with 98 bids was among the most popular products.

Sports memorabilia from the medal-winning Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, replicas of the Ayodhya Ram mandir, Varanasi’s Rudraksh theater, and many other valuable and intriguing antiques were among the highlights of this round of e-auctions.

One thousand three hundred forty-eight memories were offered in the e-auction, with about 8600 bids received. From September 17 to October 7, the third round of e-auction of Modi’s gifts and souvenirs was conducted. The Namami Gange Mission will benefit from the revenues of the e-auction.

In September of this year, a total of 2,770 items were sold in a similar auction. Paintings, sculptures, shawls, coats, and traditional musical instruments were among the items on display. The earnings went to the Namami Gange Mission as well.
