Lucknow: The Aligarh police started interrogation to the suspended assistant professor, Dr. Jitendra Kumar of Aligarh Muslim University, who made a rape in hindu myth remark. Jitendra made this remark during a class of forensic science in Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College. Police had already registered an FIR against him for provoking religious sentiments of hindus.
In this matter the teacher was called to the civil lines police station of Aligarh and few questions were asked to him regarding the complaint. Besides this, a two member inquiry has also been set up by the University administration regarding the same matter.

Assistant Professor had apologized previously
The assistant professor has appologized previously in this context. The accused teacher was served show cause notice by the university administration and explanation was asked. The teacher has unconditionally apologized over the remark.
