Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati on Sunday slammed former Congress President and Wayanad MP, Rahul Gandhi. In response to Gandhi’s remarks, Mayawati has called him “a person suffering from inferiority complex and the present state of Congress is like a cat”.
BSP chief Mayawati said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks reflect his inferiority complex and hatred towards Dalits and BSP. The people of Congress never want to see Dalit or BSP moving forward. He said that where there is talk of an alliance between Congress and BSP before the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi is lying. She further said that in the last 70 years the grand old party had nothing for the Dalits.

Mayawati said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had said about us on the previous day that he did not even contest the assembly elections in UP. The BSP chief said that we were not even contesting the assembly elections, so where did the talk of contesting elections and alliances come from. Mayawati said that he (Rahul Gandhi) is not able to handle his scattered house and is taking a dig at us. Mayawati said that the Congress party is adopting abominable tactics even before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. He said that Rahul Gandhi’s saying that I did not reply is wrong, there is no truth in it. He said that instead of worrying about other parties, Congress should worry about itself. The way our party works is different. After the election, every opposition party must review its result, but such things should not happen. He said that the condition of Congress has now become like a gloomy cat pillar.

BSP chief Mayawati said that Rahul Gandhi is forcibly pointing fingers at the working style of BSP. Rahul’s claim about the alliance is false. Congress did not give any help from the Center during the tenure of our government in Uttar Pradesh. Targeting the BJP, Mayawati said that the BJP wants to destroy the Constitution and democracy. BJP now wants to create a party system like China. Mayawati said that we are not going to change our ways at the behest of anyone. Rahul Gandhi sits at crossroads. Forcibly, hugging PM Modi in Parliament. All this is not the way our party functions.
