Mumbai. Hons of the police were counted for counting so much money from the house of a dead beggar. Let us tell you that the police recovered the FD passbook of Rs 8.77 lakh and about Rs 1.5 lakh cash from the residence of Birju Chandra Azad, who was killed in an accident on Friday. Explain that while he was going on the railway track between Govandi and Mankhurd station, 82-year-old Azad was hit by a high speed train at the same time.

When a police team identified him with the help of hawkers and beggars in the area, they visited his hut in Govandi. The police were shocked when documents of a fixed deposit in a bank and a large amount of coins in many bags were flooded. The police took hours to count the coins which were worth about 1.5 lakh rupees. Some reports state that the coins are counted at about 1.75 lakh rupees.

“Birju Chandra Azad died in an accident on the railway track between Govandi and Mankhurd station,” said Nand Kumar Sust, a senior police officer of the Vashi GRP. Sub-inspector Praveen Kamble said, “We found four big boxes (containers) and a barrel. He had hidden coins of Rs. 1, Rs. 2, Rs. 5 and Rs. 10 in plastic pouches inside the containers.”
