Sports Desk – The Indian women’s chess team won their first gold medal at the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest, with Tania Sachdev saying they were destined for this victory.

The team, which includes Tania Sachdev, Harika Dronavalli, Vaishali Rameshbabu, Divya Deshmukh, and Vantika Agrawal, beat Azerbaijan with a score of 3.5-0.5 in the final round.

Tania expressed her overwhelming joy and pride in her team. They had won a bronze medal last year, which made this gold even more significant for them.

Each player shared their personal relief and happiness about overcoming last year’s challenges and achieving their dream this year.
