Always be careful of what you plant now!

We often hear the term ‘karma’ from our elderly people. They believe that our karmic actions have a lot to do to decide our future. They also think that whatever we do in this life, we will reap its fruits in this life itself. There is no after-life or another life for us as we are currently living in Kali Yug. Kali Yug is not actually embraced by many elderly people as they think it is all about bad things that keep happening everywhere and there is nothing good in this world.

Well, that’s what their perception is all about. In today’s world, there is nothing permanent. We live in a temporary world. There cannot be happiness forever and there cannot be sadness forever. Life is changing every minute and so are we changing with the cycles of nature. In summer, we feel the heat, while in winter, we feel the cold. In stress, we think life is hell, while in the success we enjoy each moment of our life. So, basically, there is nothing constant with LIFE. But what can be constant is our decision to do good karma.

Say, for example, you run a company, and there comes this pandemic that gives you huge losses. If you have enough profits in your company account and still you go with the trend of laying off people from your firm, then you are nowhere doing anything good to yourself, to the company, and others associated with the company.

However, if even during such stressful situations, you feel that you should help at least the people in your company by upskilling them for better jobs and then slowly telling them to leave jobs as soon as they get elsewhere, you should the human side of you, which is good actions or good karma. Now how will this help you? The same people would refer your company to work with when your business starts again in full-swing and you develop good relations with all your stakeholders. In case you were a mean-minded person and just removed people from your company without any notice or just to save the money in your company account, then bad word-of-mouth would surely happen of your company but remember one thing, you would never get the same team and loyal people in your life who would work for you. Because, it is rightly said, as you sow, so shall you reap, and hence, one should be aware of what they are planting.

The moral of the story is all that evil you do, stays back with you and all that good you do comes back to you to help you in abundant ways in your bad times.
