Tech Desk – Audi has started accepting bookings for the Q3 Sportback for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. The made its global debut in July 2019 and now its finally come to the Indian market.
It is based on the standard Q3 SUV and has an octagon-shaped grille, matrix LED headlamps with DRLs, multi-spoke alloys, and LED tail lamps. It also gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree parking camera, a 10-speaker sound system, six airbags, and more.
The Audi Q3 Sportback has a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that can work with Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, and the Audi Q3. It can produce 187 bhp and 320 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DCT. Also, it claimed to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds.
The Audi Q3 Sportback is expected to cost more than Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be offered in two different variants of the model. It will compete against the Volvo XC40, the BMW X1, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA.
