Date:

Prayagraj (UP): A four-day conclave of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. The organisation has laid stress on the need for population control in the country. At a press conference, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said that the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal of the Sangh voiced concern over population boom in the country. He said, “It is important in view of limited resources in the country. Everyone must introspect on it and implement the policy of population control.”

Hindu population is declining because of conversions in border areas, he said, adding that religion-based population imbalance has led to the division of many nations and India is facing the same problem. The conference also spoke about how to expand its base. He also said that the RSS would complete 100 years in 2025, so the organisation discussed how to increase its Shakhas in the country.
