Anuppur (MP): Relatives of a deceased tied his body to a rubber tube to cross the Narmada for performing last rites. The incident took place in Thadpathara village of Anuppur district in Madhya Pradesh. They were forced to do so as there is no bridge to cross the Narmada that is flowing nine feet above the danger mark because of heavy rain that lashed the state. Besides the only road that connects the village was under water.
