According to the report published in the Kathmandu Post, the Government of Nepal is now going to enact such a law, after which if a Nepalese citizen marries Indian village girls then all rights of that girl will be terminated. Citizenship of Nepal will not be granted to him immediately. Indian women who go there after marrying a citizen of Nepal will now have to wait for 7 years to get Nepal citizenship.
It is clear that during these seven years, Indian married women in Nepal will have to be deprived of all kinds of political rights. In a way, Nepal wants to end its relationship with India, which was going on between the two countries for the last hundreds of years.
