New Delhi: The Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned for the day on Wednesday after the Opposition created a ruckus over the three new farm laws.
When the House reassembled at 1430 hrs after the second adjournment, Opposition members raised the issue of the new farm laws and demanded their complete repeal.
As the sloganeering by the Opposition members continued, Meenakshi Lekhi, who was in the Chair, asked Mr Yadav to continue his speech on Monday. She then adjourned the House for the day till 1100 hrs on Monday, March 15.
Before the second adjournment, the house passed the National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Bill, 2021 that will help regularise the unauthorised colonies in Delhi.
Earlier, the proceedings were adjourned till 1230 hrs after the Opposition created a ruckus over the same issue.
