He said an FIR was filed by the Porbandar Navi Bandar police, which has jurisdiction across Gujarat over any event beyond 12 nautical miles in the Arabian sea.

“Chamre was aboard the ‘Jalpari,’ a fishing boat that went from Okha on October 25 with seven crew members, five from Gujarat and two from Maharashtra,” Joshi added.

Because the event occurred beyond 12 nautical miles in the sea, a murder charge has been filed in Porbandar. On October 25, the Indian boat Jalpari set out for Okha in the Devbhoomi Dwarka area. On Saturday, November 6, there was a shooting incident.

When the fire incident occurred, another Gujarati boat, Padma, set off from Veraval, was also present. According to accounts, PMSA kidnapped the Jalpari boat while the Padma returned to Gujarat’s shore with one injured guy.

Another fisherman was hurt by the gunfire and was rescued by the Padma. The Indian authorities recently freed ten fishermen who had illegally entered Indian territory. Six fishermen have also been taken, according to reports.
