Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and the founder member of the party, Azam Khan will add the power of the party in the lower house. Both leaders have decided to be in the Vidhan Sabha. They will resign from their respective Lok Sabha seats. Akhilesh Yadav has submitted his resignation to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla on Tuesday. Azam is to submit his resignation soon. Akhilesh was representing Azamgarh’s seat while Azam was representing Rampur in Lok Sabha.

In a straight election vs BJP in the legislative assembly, BJP defeated SP. For the first time, Akhilesh contested legislative elections from the Kerhal seat. Political experts are of the view that, if Akhilesh remains in the lower house, as a leader of the opposition, it will impose pressure over the ruling party and will help in boosting the energy of his party members. In two years, time, the Lok Sabha elections will take place. If Akhilesh wants to dominate in Uttar Pradesh, then it would be better for him to keep his eyes on Uttar Pradesh. The presence of Azam and Shivpal Yadav will increase the power of Akhilesh in the lower house.

Dimple will be fighting by-elections!
People have started to guess, who will represent Azamgarh’s seat in Lok Sabha? Sources say that Dimple Yadav, Akhilesh’s wife will be the candidate from Samajwadi Party. Similarly, Tanjeen Fatma could be the candidate of SP from Rampur if Azam leaves the seat. Since there is a time of more than one and half years so by-elections are sure.
