Unnao:
Beating up a minor girl student for making a noise in the classroom at a government school in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh has cost a woman teacher dear. Immediately after a video clipping of the incident went viral on social media, the teacher Sunil Kumari of Islam Nagar Primary School in Asoha block was suspended.

On getting information, the Unnao district police directed the Asoha police station in charge to take stringent action against the guilty teacher. The Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA), Unnao, Anjay Tiwari said that after watching the video, the officials began an investigation into the case. Beating up or punishing a child in the classroom or anywhere has been prohibited. The school authorities said that the teacher concerned was suspended and a case registered against her.
