Firozabad: She died in a road accident just after giving birth to a baby girl on a road at Narkhi in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, the police said on Thursday.
According to reports, residents of Dhanaula village in Agra, Ramu and his eight-month pregnant wife Kamini, were travelling on a motorcycle. As soon as they neared Bartra village, a truck hit their bike from behind. The seriously injured woman fell on the road and died after giving birth to a baby girl who was healthy, the police said.

Enraged by the incident, a large number of villagers blocked traffic, but the police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The body of the woman has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
