Female PG medical student commits suicide in Indore

Bhopal: Fed up with life, as her diary says, a post-graduate student of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGMMC) in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district, committed suicide on Sunday, the police said. She was a student of anaesthesiology and took overdose of anaesthetic drugs to commit suicide, said inspector Tehzeeb Qazi of Sanyogitaganj police station in Indore city.

He said that during the search of her room in a private hostel, the police found a diary in which it was written that she was fed up with life. After she had taken the overdose of anaesthetic drug, her friends rushed to a nearby hospital where she died, the police said.  When media persons contacted the head department contacted the head of the department of anaesthesiology Dr KK Arora, he said that she was on duty on Saturday as well as on Sunday. He further said that a woman had reached her hostel after the student stopped taking calls.
