Rajkot: Earthquake tremors have been felt near Rajkot in Gujarat on Sunday. It is said to have come north-northwest, 122 km from Rajkot. The intensity of this earthquake was measured 5.5 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 8:13 pm on Sunday night. There is no news of any casualties in this earthquake yet.
A day earlier, a mild tremor was felt in Bikaner, Rajasthan on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, the intensity of the earthquake which came at 10.26 am was estimated at 4.3 on the Richter scale. According to the department, the epicenter of this earthquake was 35 kilometers below the ground level. According to district administration officials, there is no notice of loss of life or property from the earthquake.
