Former DSP Davinder Singh accused of tying up with terrorists gets bail

New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir Police DSP Davinder Singh has got bail in a case from Patiala House Court in Delhi. He got bail on a personal bond of one lakh. Along with accused Davinder Singh, accused Irfan Saifi Mir has also been granted bail by the Patiala House Court on a personal bond of one lakh. The accused got default bail due to the lapse of special cell of Delhi Police.

The special cell failed to file the charge sheet within the prescribed limit. The Special Cell arrested accused Davinder Singh and accused Irrfan Saifi Mir on charges of carrying out a big conspiracy in Delhi. The accused have been granted bail in this case, but for the moment, accused Davinder Singh will still be in jail because he is also an accused in the NIA case.

Accused Davinder Singh is accused of tying up of terrorists. He is accused of providing logistic and help to the terrorists. In this case, accused Devendra Kumar was arrested by NIA.

Accused Irfan Saifi Mir will also remain in jail for the time being, as accused Irrfan Saifi Mir is also an accused in the NIA case.
