Ali Shah Geelani resigns from All Party Hurriyat Conference

New Delhi: Separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has resigned from the All Party Hurriyat Conference. The All Party Hurriyat Conference, the premier joint organization of separatists in Kashmir, was formed on 9 March 1993.

In a small audio message, Geelani said, “Given the current situation of the Hurriyat Conference, I have decided to separate from the Hurriyat form.” Information has been given to all Hurriyat people by writing a letter about the decision.
