Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has issued an order regarding the amount of fine imposed on those who violate traffic rules. Talking on the phone while driving, will incur a fine of Rs 1,000 for the first time and Rs 10,000 for the second time. Even if you are driving a two wheeler and a four wheeler, the fine will be 10,000. Driving a helmet without a vehicle will attract a fine of Rs 1,000. On Thursday (July 30), the mandate for imposing fines at an increased rate under the Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules was issued.

Know now where and how much penalty will be charged

  • For violation of parking, first time penalty of 500 rupees and second time will be Rs 1500.
  • There will be a fine of 1,000 for driving a car without seat belt.
  • There will be a fine of Rs 5,000 for driving without a license or a child below 14 years without a valid license.
  • Earlier, the fine was Rs 1000, which has been reduced to Rs 2000 for non-acceptance of the officer and obstructing the work.
  • Now a fine of 10,000 rupees will have to be given for giving false facts about driving license.
  • Fines of 10,000 will also be levied for not giving way to the fire brigade’s car and ambulance.
  • 2,000 for driving faster than the prescribed speed, and the same fine for commercial vehicles will be 4,000.
  • A penalty of Rs 1000 will have to be paid for triple loading on the bike.
  • Without reason blowing horns will be fined 1000 for the first time, 2000 for the second time.
  • There will be a fine of 2000 for driving without insurance.
  • For the first time there will be a 5000 fine for participating in a race or trial without the permission of the state government
