Lucknow: At least 6 people have died in a fierce collision between two roadways buses on Lucknow-Hardoi road in Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, more than a dozen people have been injured. According to the information received, the incident happened when two buses and a truck of UP Roadways collided on the outskirts of Lucknow. The incident occurred close to Kakori police station on Wednesday morning. A bus driver is also among those who died.
According to the police, the condition of the five injured remains very critical. They are being used at the Trauma Center of King George’s Medical University (KGMU). Meanwhile Kakori ACP SM Qasim Abidi has confirmed that 6 people have died and 8 are injured.
A policeman at Kakori police station said that the accident occurred when a roadways bus was coming from Lucknow. This bus tried to overtake the truck and during this time it collided with another roadway bus. Police said that a two-wheeler driver was also injured in the accident, which was nearby.
At the same time, the truck driver said that when two buses collided, he did not care anything and he also lost control of his vehicle. According to local people, this road accident occurred at around 6.30 am. These two buses carried 25 passengers.
